TREND.AZ: IRAN’S EMBASSY CONTINUES EFFORTS FOR RELEASE OF CITIZEN DETAINED IN AZERBAIJAN
 Iran's embassy is continuing to exert efforts to free its citizen Hasan Faraji detained by the Azerbaijani law enforcement bodies, Iran's ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayin told media on Wednesday. According to Pakayin, the embassy's consul has already met with the detainee, while its lawyer is engaged on his case. The diplomat stressed that Faraji was engaged in trade in Azerbaijan. He was detained due to a misunderstanding and efforts will be continued to release him. Faraji was arrested for suspicious behaviour in front of the Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan on October 31. | |
