Face à la guerre du Karabagh (du 27 septembre au 9 novembre 2020), initiée par l’Azerbaïdjan contre la population arménienne, on n’a pas beaucoup entendu la voix de démocrates turcs, pour la plupart emprisonnés, censurés ou exilés. Cengiz Aktar, ancien haut fonctionnaire aux Nations-Unies, professeur invité à l’Université d’Athènes, a publié, au moment du conflit, « Le malaise turc » un pamphlet d’une centaine de pages, contre le régime d’Erdoğan, sultan républicain qui se rêve en calife. Il livre aujourd’hui une analyse sans concession de l’état actuel de son pays.

On August 11, 2020, Memorandum of understanding was signed between Armenian “China-Eurasia” Council for Political and Strategic research and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Chinese Committee on Good Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation (SCO GNFCC). According to the Memorandum of understanding, Parties agreed to cooperate with each other, to contribute to the development of Sino-Armenian relations, to promote dialogue between 2 ancient civilizations, to start and bust cooperation in academic, technological, informational, educational, cultural and other fields.

Established in 1956 in Vienna, Austria this institution is making great contribution for the World peace and international security.

The United Nations’ General Assembly held its annual session Sept. 24-30, 2019 in New York City. The participants were heads of states and high-ranking officials of UN member countries, including Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. Surprisingly, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev was absent -- a big mistake on his part!
